Brakes, tyres & suspension
Visible brake condition, tyre tread/condition, steering and suspension components, wheel-bearing concerns and other accessible under-vehicle items where the job setup allows.
Lights, warnings & safety checks
Exterior lighting, dashboard warning lamps, wipers/washers, horn and other basic safety-related functions are checked as part of the relevant package.
Final checks & service reset
Oil level is rechecked, the service indicator is reset where supported, findings are reported and a road test is carried out where appropriate and safe.
Common questions
Do I legally have to service my vehicle?
Routine servicing is not the same legal requirement as an MOT, but regular maintenance is important for safety, reliability and manufacturer warranty/service-history requirements. Your vehicle must still remain roadworthy regardless of MOT status.
Does an MOT replace a service?
No. An MOT checks whether the vehicle met minimum road-safety and environmental standards at the time of the test. A service is preventative maintenance and checks/renews items that are outside the MOT test.
Which service do I need?
That depends on mileage, time since the last service and the manufacturer schedule. Send us the registration and, if known, the mileage and service history; we can recommend the appropriate level and quote the correct parts.
Can you service vans as well as cars?
Yes. We service cars and vans, subject to vehicle specification, parts availability, safe access and the work being suitable for a mobile environment.
Ready to book your next service?
Send us the registration, mileage if known, your location and preferred date. We will confirm the correct service package, parts, price and appointment window.
